Update from the October 2007 Meet and Confer with DPA
In its usual manner, the ACSS Executive Officers and staff were prepared to meet and confer with DPA on issues involving salaries, benefits and improved working conditions for its members.
The agenda of items was lengthy as it included all the unresolved issues from previous monthly meet and confer sessions along with its major focus: a decent raise for excluded employees. Unfortunately, because of a personal conflict, DPA Director Dave Gilb was unable to attend the meeting; therefore, there was no resolution to any of the issues raised.
ACSS will be meeting again with DPA at the end of January to resume our discussions on equity adjustments, salary increases and improved benefits for our members.
