Gov. Schwarzenegger will release his "May revise" for the 2010-2011 budget today at 1 p.m. With a $20 billion deficit, the governor's office has warned of "absolutely terrible cuts." Democrats want to consider tax increases to close the gap; Republicans say "no way."

Re: Governor will release revised budget today at 1 p.m.

JUST ANOTHER LAME BRAIN IDEA OF HOW TO FIX THE BUDGET IN A WAY THAT SOLVES NO PROBLEMS. WHY CAN'T WE LEAVE THIS TO THE PEOPLE. STATE WORKERS ARE ENTITLED TO THE INCOME THEY HAVE WORKED FOR. WE HAVE UNION REPRESENTATIVES THAT FIGHT FOR EVERY PENNY WE EARN. SURE THERE ARE SOME EMPLOYEES EARNIG MORE THAN $100,000 A YEAR BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY DON'T EARN IT EITHER. HOWEVER, LET'S START WITH THE PEOPLE THAT CREATED THIS PROBLEM. THE LEGISLATURE-&SINCE THEYDON'T HAVE A CLUE STOP PAYING THEM!!!!! LET'S HAVE THE STATE BUDGET DEPT DO SOME DUE DILIGENCE AND LET THE PEOPLE THAT RUN THE STATES BUSINESS HELP FIGURE OUT A SOLUTION TO THIS FIASCO.
