Appellate court upholds SCIF decision

The San Francisco Court of Appeal upheld a lower court decision that Gov. Schwarzenegger illegally furloughed about 500 State Compensation Insurance Fund legal professionals. The ruling means the governor likely will lose a second appeal filed by SEIU Local 1000 on behalf of its members at SCIF. ACSS won the right for excluded employees to be included in the SEIU decision.
