From the Sacramento Bee: A San Francisco Superior Court judge ruled today that the Schwarzenegger administration didn't break the law in eliminating two paid holidays -- Lincoln's birthday (traditionally next week) and Columbus Day in October.

Re: Judge rules eliminating two holidays is OK
how can a judge make a ruling that takes away a pre-negoicated holiday (in lieu of rasies for state workers in the 1980s) and that was approved by legistation of the state of California at that time? WELL HELL WHY NOT, no one will remember that we (state of california) did that? Screw the people that keep the highways safe, for your family and commerce.
