From the LA Times: Gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman, former CEO of eBay, calls state workers "selfish and arrogant" and wants to cut 40,000 of their jobs from the state payroll. Yet, the writer points, out, the 53-year-old Whitman has little experience working with public entitities and didn't bother to register to vote until she was 46.

Re: Arrogant? Billionaire Whitman would slash state workforce
Please have someone inform Meg Whitman that it is okay for a person of her business experience to make her own decisions and conclusions. She does not have to be a puppet of Pete Wilson's agenda just because she is uniformed about state government. Pete Wilson needs to retire to Alaska and leave California and his agenda behind, once an for all.
