From this morning's State Worker blog: The state's gross payroll shrank in February, compared to February 2008, by nearly $62 million. And good news for SCIF employees, including ACSS members: Now that a judge has ruled SCIF workers are exempt from furloughs, employees will receive back pay with interest.

Re: State Worker blog: Payroll shrinks $62 million; SCIF workers to get back pay

Why is ACSS concentrating so much effort on restoring the pay of only a few of it's members? I pay my dues every month also. So, what makes ACSS members who work for SCIF more special than other ACSS members? What is ACSS doing to restore pay for the rest of us? Maybe ACSS should support a separate site for SCIF employees so the rest of us do not have their "GOOD NEWS" thrown in our faces as we continue to face the hardship of lost salary every month...

HOORAH for SCIF employees!
