Your Board of Directors has joined with other ACSS members from across the state to meet with their Legislators at the Capitol and in their district offices delivering this message. Now is the time to come together and turn your collective anger into one strong voice. No one works for free, why should you?

As President of ACSS, I am asking you to call or e-mail the Governor…TODAY! He’s your "Boss" and he needs to hear from you, the supervisors, managers and confidential employees that he relies on to keep California operating. "I am mad as Hell and I am not going to take it anymore!" This is the message the State’s Management Team needs to send to "The Boss."

The Governor needs to hear loud and clear that you are not part of the collective bargaining process, that you don’t march around the Capitol with picket signs or threaten to strike! While you show up to work everyday and get the job done, you still haven’t had a raise in 6 years!

As the rank and file contracts are finalized, the Administration will turn its attention to excluded employees and our needs. We need to stand up and remind "The Boss" that we have been loyal, faithful and responsible, and now it’s time to reap the rewards of the many services we have provided.

It’s up to you to let "The Boss" know that you are angry and that it’s time to be heard! DON’T WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO SEND THAT MESSAGE, JOIN ME IN CONTACTING THE GOVERNOR TODAY. Send him a message at www.govmail.ca.gov and ask your coworkers to do the same.
